Curloneout faced the slowest curler on earth graham "the tortoise" Shedden in game two. The game started off well for curloneout out with a standard 2 with down the first. "The snail" replied with a good 2 back down the second and then the fun started! Down 3 Gracie had a simple nose for 1 but played what can only be described as a homosexual hit weight, this was compounded by a broken wrist on release resulting in a steal of 3 for the team in fancy dress. The score line got worse down 4 with another steal for the slugs. Curloneout rallied down 5 to take a good 3 at the 5th end break. Curloneout stole 6 and 7 to make it 7-6 down the 8th where the sloth levelled it at 7-7. Curloneout played a good 9th and Gracie predictably nosed for 1 and ruined the teams hard work. Down 10 curloneout managed a 3 course meal and a pint at the bar while waiting on shedden to play his last stone, sheddos final stone was as light and fluffy as his leads moustache and he only managed 1 for the extra. Down the nail biter two good ticks and a crazy triple rip made it look sweet for curloneout until a tasty pick up on Robbos stone left the shed with a chance, his draw was slightly heavy leaving Gracie a relatively simple tap for the game which amazingly he made. 1 win 1 loss.
Curloneout went for an early bed as they faced the Ferrari sponsored team christie at midday. Team ferrari skipped by lee mcleary tried some early mind games during practice but no reaction was awarded and 1-0 to curloneout already on the morale victory scores. Curloneout played a really good first 4 ends with very little mistakes until the 5th when they were caught out with "changing ice conditions" and lost a 3. 2 down at the break. The half time pies provided no improvement and a floppy cock handle by el capitano saw another 2 chalked up for team Ferrari. 7 was blanked and curloneout took their 2 down 8 to reduce the advantage to 2. End 9 was "baws oot" time and the welding goggles were welded on Robbo playing a particularly good freeze to lie 1. Gracie was left a tricky hack weight which tickled the gaurs leaving us high and dry and game over.
The weekend saw the team finish on 1 win 2 loss and all to play for next week in a tight section.
